You know what? Some midfielders are great tacklers, some aren't. Paul Scoles. I rest my case.

If you're as good as scholes, silva etc you're offensive contribution is so great that it out weighs your defensive liability . You can purchase a player to do all the ugly stuff to enable these players to win football matches.

Thought he was sound again today. His partnership with Holgate is really looking good. Both players pass to each other but never put the other in trouble, Kenny will sometimes pass it further past him so that Holgate can make an easy pass back to Pickford rather than direct to him if it could put him in trouble. The second goal started with Pickford, to Holgate to Kenny then onto Davies including a nice turn-back by Jonjoe before passing to Davies. These three know each other’s game , great potential togethe4.
