Unsworth is to blame for the contract. He gave both Kenny and Baningime contracts whilst he was briefly in charge. They were probably his 2 favourites in the academy side at the time. This is why Unsworth should never be allowed near the top job again. Then we had the stupidity to turn down Burnleys bid last year. However much it was would have been enough as we had no book price to cover and he is a poor player.
We're really bad as a club at sussing out when players just aren't good enough.
Marcel Brands was convinced this lad was our long term replacement to Coleman. He sent him off to Schalke, and brought in Sidibe on loan because he was so convinced in Kenny.

Agree should have went on long time ago same with broadhead. Need to be selling these players with sell on fees. I kno money had been a problem trhis window but he has left us short at fb again how he hasnt got us a rb still is awful

Unsworth needs to go full stop - he's completely at fault for the state of our u23s and handling of the younger players.
I know we have some decent, talented youngsters, but they ain't getting a sniff and he seems to have his favourites who continually get picked

He was genuinely outperformed by Cuco Martina in his 'breakthrough' season, and Martina was out of position at left back. The own goal he scored away against Leicester when Unsworth was in charge will be burned into my retina forever.
