You can only rate what you see and I don’t really remember him showing a lot in a blue shirt apart from better crossing ability than Coleman. I don’t think anyone has ever put him ahead of Holgate and DCL in ability either.

I would be paying the 12m for Sidney, getting the same back for Kenny and sticking in a Barca style buyback.

Sidibe a weird one.

He does some great things. His aggression and tackling are great. But he does some utterly abysmal things too. When hes bad, he can be very bad.

I’d get him out on loan again next season, buy Sidibe and keep Coleman as second choice.

He needs to keep playing every week at a good level. In 18 months he might be ready to replace Coleman and challenge Sidibe as starter.

I’ll keep him if we have no plans to buy a quality young RB. Seeing a scouse lad go abroad and do well is great, definitely earned a run in the team to prove he’s good enough.

Five years difference in age and Kenny catching up really quickly; our first choice RB next season.

I know Coleman had a good game at the weekend but surely this is a no-brainer.

Bring JonJoe back, sign Sidibe and move Coleman on.

Sidibe is a known quantity, and is better than Coleman. If JonJoe comes back and is the star we hope then Sidibe sits on the bench as adequate cover at both RB and RW. If JonJoe comes back and is only solid, then he is just as good as Coleman but a 22 year-old version and Sidibe plays while he continues his development.
