I don't see how we can stuff a club where money means nothing to them. They don't care of they pay 10 million or 25 million for Joleon Lescott - it means nothing to them.

The fact that we are left with 10 days to replace our first choice centre back tells you all you need to know.

Agreed, go back to the De Jong deal, they paid £18m rather than wait 6 months and pay £1.6m. Clearly money is not important to them.

They have too much money, thats why they bought City, to throw some money at it.

The only reason they havent paid the £30m we wanted is cos they want to belittle us. Well its worked.

it's okay, I think we're all at the end of a very short tether.
I got up this morning all cheerful cos JL was on his way and we would have some dosh to spend but as the day goes on I feel more and more naffed off wondering what the hell is going on behind the scenes.
So, DM's quoted as saying we're looking at Steven Taylor in the next few days. Why the next few days, how about 2 weeks ago or last month?
I thought last year was bad and Mannygate a huge let down but this year tops the lot.

Someone gave me a neg rep for saying that I wouldnt spend anymore of my hard earned cash until the club demonstrated some organisation and ambition. (That was also on the back of being told they wouldnt allow me access to the ground cos of my crutches).

Neg rep ? I think I deserve a Blue Peter badge for showing some common sense after more than 50 years following Everton.

No, hope not but they said that they would not let me keep my crutches during the game so I asked what was I supposed to do if I needed to stand up to let someone get past and so on...

To be fair, they did eventually say that I could access the ground in a wheelchair (after I'd asked for a refund on the season ticket) but it was such a fuss that I gave up in the end. I'll probably go for a half season ticket come the New Year and just go to the odd game when I can walk a bit better. Plaster off next week! Yippee, can't wait to have a bath!

I just felt a bit miffed at their initial attitude - we support the club with our hard earned cash and they often treat us with contempt. Annoys me, that's all.

To cheer you up a bit, the secret Russian kid we might be signing is very good looking. In Russia he has a personal female fan club. Dare I say it, a potential Nuno replacement.

IMO Lescott is a top quality defender, one of the best in the prem, and he'll make Citeh stronger.

I think people need to just bite the bullet and maybe sometimes when you spend £200million and £25million or whatever on a defender that isnt a regular international, that you have to admit defeat.

IMO Lescott has gone to a team that will win things, that will probably finish above us and break the top 4 due to the everlasting money that can be put into it. Thems the facts.

We are a skin of our teeth club, ran like that, spend like that. We cant compete, we leave things till the last minute, we dont have money and we do get it, it's more or less gone. We've got one of the best managers in the league but cant support him and expect miracles from him every year. Maybe 1 year it might just stop and we'll struggle.

The point we're at now is - 1 fit centre back, a piss poor right side of the team, around £22million in the bank, and 10days to go to sort it all out.

Will it happen? Maybe. If it does, it wont improve us like we need improving IMO, but we'll see.

Arse over tit the whole thing is. If it doesnt get sorted the club is to blame I feel for the way its been handled.
