Most teams' heads will go down if there getting beat 4-0, lets be honest. I don't think we reacted any different to others teams in that situation. We just continued being very [Poor language removed], sadly.

It wasn't the commitment or workrate that bothered me today, it was the lack of quality, the lack of technical ability. I know I keep banging on about it but technically, without Arteta, we are quite a limited side.

If you can't keep the ball and your midfield isn't even looking for it a team like Arsenal will punish you.

And if you play one upfront at home against Arsenal's three, playing a centre back who does'nt want to play for the club no more, then you get results like what we just witnessed today.

the result today was in no way lescott's fault dont try and make him the scapegoat

but in fairness mate he had no other option but to play lescott and to be honest dont think lescott played that badly.

You have a point mate but once Lescott put in a written transfer request, Moyes should have let go of his stubbornness and granted him his wish then set about finding a replacement. Lescott was professional today and was the pick of our defenders but all of the recent uncertainty had some part to play in our performance.

agreed to the extent he had some part to play in the performance however i am proud off moyes for showing that we will not be bullied by the rich folk and letting everyone know who is the boss and also i think he was fully justified in his selection of lescott as in your own words he was the pick of our defenders, and if he had let lescott go it maybe would have given the impression to our other top playets that we are a selling club with no ambition and then maybe they would be looking to go elsewhere

Turner from Hull please.

Get rid of this whopper. Can't bear to have him here any longer. Why where people clapping him? Idiots.

Note - I didn't boo him. I think it said more to him when people cheered the ignorant little sh!t (y)

He was one of our "better" players today you over-reactive freak.
Whilst I'm fuming and taking a ripping, I fail so see how replacing him with the underwhelming Turner is going to make things better.

Simple isn't it?
And today's result rammed it home in a way that hurt
Lescott is a quality player, we need them on the field, especially at the back, so Moyes is right to keep him while he is useful to the club.

I am not surprised David feels a bit aggrieved - you always are when a big club comes along trying to acquire one of your better players."

Sorry lads but I don't see Lescott going anywhere.

City have really handled this whole thing poorly and they're the last club Moyes would sell Lescott to now.

The whole team played poorly today but were still not selling Lescott.

End of.
