Oh yeah, you're spot on. Lescott's a lying dick. But what we're saying is he's not wrong to question our trophy winning credentials and, as big a dick as he is, you can't argue that we don't look a trophy winning team. We have the talent but not the mentality. And the likes of Chelsea and Sporting keep proving that.

But he's talked about the squad from last season compared to the Citeh squad last season, and saw it better than ours due to the experience of winning trophies that Citeh had LAST SEASON as the reason he left.

Counter arguement to that is listing and comparing the players from last season from both teams to see who's had more experience.

That's the point. Especially when Citeh havent done anything to prove they have the mentality, even now. So its a comment that doesnt make much sense unless your Joe Lescott and what to keep giving reasons why he left.

No, you're actually starting to win me over. I'd forgotten about him and Fellaini.

Not the same thing like given the quality of leagues but we do have more winners in the squad then I originally thought.

I could be wrong mate, and usually am, but he moved for the money as I pointed out to Ghost but he then took a hissy fit as per usual.

Leon Osman - FA Youth Cup winner.

You can't discount the potential he saw. Its clearly obvious to any normal human being that moving to City last season didn't mean you would be playing with the same level of players a year later. It was work in progress.

I'm sure the guys on Bluemoon would agree with you.

Any chance you two can do this elsewhere?

Like via PM, or in some dodgy side alley, I don't really care.

No offense, it's just getting tiring seeing every thread in the EVERTON forum turn into another Ghost vs the world argument.

ON TOPIC: Interesting to see he didn't get a look in today, with a young lad being preferred, and then Bridge coming on when he got sent off. Although I wouldn't mind getting splinters in my arse every week for the money he's on.

He wasnt talking about potential in that sentence, which is the point of all this, but says something about a team he just lost a FA Cup final with and says they're not good enough. But I guess you have to play in these big games to get first hand experience to know, eh Joe? And that Citeh have been to all those finals before so he's in safe hands.

And he'd got a have thought he'd be the major player in the squad to win these trophies too...zing!

Not conceding anything - just think it's impossible to debate anything with you.

Why, because in this occasion it would seem I'm right? I thought (for a change) I debated well there, it was you who resulted to personal insults after acting all precious earlier about people picking on you!

Really mate, it's not that important. The problem lies with you taking these things the wrong way to be honest.

He didn't have to mention potential. It's like ignoring the elephant in the room mate.

Your GOT Clique Welcome pack is in the post. Congratulations, you made it.

I changed my mind because I was convinced by the arguments. The same thing you were moaning that these guys never do.

There's no point talking about anything with someone else if you're not willing to be convinced you're wrong. You might as well just talk to yourself.

I still think that we don't look like a trophy winning side and he'll probably win more at city then he would with us but we have more winning experience then I originally thought. And on reflection I think his comments are made with hindsight. The gap between our two teams simply wasn't there when he left.
