What about Kompany and Petrov and 10m, if Onuoha is not in the frame. Komany did not make the bench on the weekend (injured??)

Nothing personal Azzbot but let me put it this way.

I doubt very seriously that we're going to sell Lescott. If that indeed does become the case (as I trust Moyes when he says that he's not selling anyone), then the constant bashing of Lescott will become tiresome.

However, since anything can happen up until the transfer deadline, feel free to continue to harp on him.

If he's still an Everton player come deadline day, then I'll probably strike a bit of a different tone.

its reported in the sun today that city will bid £20M plus Martin Petrov and possibly Richard Dunne.

Thats not the best combination, but not the worst either, we are seriously in need of options at the moment.

Hughes: I will Jo the extra mile | The Sun |Sport|Football

what a stupidly good offer. We should sell why the money is flowing. Selling Lescott would be very ambitious as it would give us a chance to bring in some players that could take us to the next level

Just been thinking he relies an awfull lot on his pace, should we really be signing wingers touching 30.

You can bet he is on high wages there to, not sure it would be worth a 3-4 year contract.

In Petrov and Dunne we would be stuck with 2 "old tImer" has beens stuck on our books wuth 3/4 year contracts. That would be truly dumb why you can't see that is beyond me.

Moyes made it clear that he makes the decisions and he is the one to speak to. Hughes won't phone him because the answer would not be what he wanted so he carries on with this charade of wishing to speak to the people who make decisions.

What an arrogant prick.

PS I would not want Jo as part of any deal either.

For me I still stick to no deal.

Daily just for mens media blurb:

I can understand the frustration David is feeling at the moment, but at the end of the day our transfers are concluded at boardroom level anyway.

‘I wasn’t alluding to the fact that maybe David wasn’t in charge of who comes and who goes.

‘But at some point in the process, the guy who signs the contract or brings the contract to the table, they are the people you hand it over to.’

City have had two bids rejected, but Hughes added: ‘We still feel there is a little bit to go in terms of maybe what we can present to Everton to change their minds.’
