Its what we should've done at the start of the whole thing.

Hopefully it'll get done now.

That's what's gonna happen if he says. Everyone will just give up and almost carry on like it never happened.

Possibly. Although I think Rooney, Barmby, Speed etc etc would give you an argument.

Oh yeah, there are a fair few of the Elephant crowd that never forgets and will take their hatred to the grave. That wont change.

But they all left. Its all if Lescott is forced to stay. He gonna get booed the entire season? Wouldnt think so.

does it not seem that youor chairman is in talks about sellinglescott even though he seemed to back moyes and say if moyes doesnt want to seel any players we wont ?

are you really telling me if meetings or phone calls between city and everton wasnt taking place we would be talking to everton about this sale?

come on something is going on in your boardroom and moyes may not know about it and it does seem lescott IS for sale otherwise city wouldnt still be talking to everton about lescott.

it seems moyes and your chairman is gobbing off about lescott not going to keep you fans sweet and make it look down to lescott(which it is by the way)

just a thought?

You still here? Thanks for the "thought". I think we're all better informed now that you've put us straight on what's probably going on.

Or it could be Hughes chatting [Poor language removed]?

Lescott wants to leave. There's no law saying a club cant keep pursuing a player especially if he wants to leave, so they can enquire all they want.

I think Moyes would turn on the club after Kenwright has blatantly said its up to Moyes who goes and who stays. He'd also kick off if the money went into the boards pockets.

The convos can just be -
Citeh - "How much?"
Everton - "£30mill or not for sale"
Citeh - "How about £20mill?"
Everton - "Not for sale"

Simples.

probably because no everton dare say what i did but how many actually think thats whats going on?

it wouldnt be the first time for that to happen at a club and i know its happened at city over swp to chelsea.

you're probably right, hughes is unwilling to give up on his plaything so he's resorted to going above our managers head and waving financial security in front of bk's face. thats our point about Hughes' conduct, as far as he's concerned everyone is for sale.

and as for your last statement, if that was true why would lescott have had to submit a transfer request? are you suggesting moyes asked him to submit it?

i really think if we can hold onto him for this season, lescott will see your defence bleeding goals left and right (given gave up 2 to cahill just last night :)) and realize he's in the more effective defensive unit already.

Are you reading Tarot cards, mate?

no mate im just not naive to think that everything is rosey in the garden.

its ok your manager and chairman saying he's not for sale but would your shareholders be happy not making about £20m profit on a player?

maybe theres more to this than you think but hey its all city's fault and not the fact that everton are talking to city about this instead of telling us where to go.

chelsea told us where to go over terry and we got the hint but maybe the everton board are saying other things to encourage city to keep this active.

im pretty sure after today that lescott will be a city player in the next few days sadly.

i'm fine with him going as long as you get him signed up in time to play against us, it'll make dismantling your flimsy house of cards team that much sweeter
