Agreed . Hughes has this horrible slimey look on his face like he has just shot his load or something . He badly needs to get in line and actually do something . Starting to seriously dislike him .
Get fired? Would improve him tremendously. Read he's ranked third among bookies to get fired 11-2.(y)

Daily Mail:

Manchester City expect to have Joleon Lescott playing for them in time for the big kick-off on Saturday, taking Mark Hughes’ spending this summer past £100million.

City believe their final offer of £20m plus add-ons for the England defender will be accepted by Everton, who remain unhappy with their North West rivals.

Sportsmail believes the transfer will be completed in the next 36 hours.

City bound: Joleon Lescott is on the verge of leaving Everton

After privately declaring the move all but dead over the weekend, it is understood
City were given encouragement on Monday afternoon and are now hopeful of having the player in their line-up to face Blackburn.

Everton, who have said they will not be bullied into agreeing the deal, are finally wavering.

While City are paying over £5m more than they originally expected, it once again shows the support for manager Hughes from the rich owners.

Spending spree: Manchester City manager Mark Hughes

Hughes, who has already spent £95m on a host of top players including Lescott’s
England team-mate Gareth Barry, has considered other options, including West Ham’s Matthew Upson and Chelsea captain John Terry.

But he wants Lescott in a left-foot, right-foot partnership with Kolo Toure that he believes can be the solid base to support their all-star attacking options.

I don't think Citeh will gel quickly and the investors will want immediate success. If Hughes goes early on, and I think he will, I hope they don't come in fo Moyes.

Good riddance never liked anyhow, i'll never forgivin him for getting out jumped by shaun wright phillips a few seasons back.

And thats the reason he wont go, he cant let him go for less than £30m, would make him look a right clown.
