400 US dollars. We get screwed over here on good scotch!Lovely.
Haven't had a bottle of Springbank for a bit. One of my favourites.
Fifteen year old must have cost a few bob.

I’ve got a Springbank 12 from years ago and refuse to drink it all it’s that good. Ardnamurchan reminds me of it somewhat.
Just had some whisky chocolate, not sure if that counts. It was very, very nice.
I see your promise not to drink lasted a long timeRum …. And lots of it …![]()
New years Eve, it’s a tradition. But stupidly registered for a 25k trail race at 1am this morningI see your promise not to drink lasted a long time![]()

I made a blackberry brandy, very nice, gone over Christmas. Now made a blackberry rum with the left over blackberries. I'm intrigued how it's going to turn out in the coming months.….proper rum, not that spiced nonsense![]()
Because of work, I have visited countless distillery's and breweries. Ironically I don’t drink spitits and every whisky I’ve ever tasted is exactly the same.
I do enjoy a good bourbon, though. Or my “had too much beer” go to is usually a Southern Comfort.
Funnily enough, they all taste pretty much the same to me.Categorically false outside your personal spere of experience. Laphroing tastes nothing like Glenmorangie other than the alcohol burn non-whiskey drinkers complain about. But they're the folks that talk about how "smooth" a whiskey is, which is nothing to do with taste.
