Johnson OR Mirallas?

Johnson is a left winger playing on the right. He is a good player but I would rather not have someone played out of position. The whole point of getting a right sided player is that they are genuine right sided. I dont know about Mirallas other than other clubs were looking at him. If he is a quick, genuine right sided who can also play through the middle then I would go with him. Anyway, Johnson would cost a fortune in wages and fee..and that's if City are prepared to sell rather than loan

To be honest I am more concerned with potentially spazzing 6m on a 17 yr old!

Isn't there a question about Johnson's mentality of something like that? Think I saw something along those lines on here. Might be wrong, or I could be thinking of michael johnson, jessssh thats a career that nosedived fast man. anyone remember that ace goal he scored against derby back in the day? He had the world at his feet then, oh michael!

Well I don't think we can honestly answer this can we? A very small percentage of GOT will have actually seen Mirallas play more than say 5 times so we're just assuming certain strengths and versatility based on a YouTube compilation and the opinions of journalists/Twitter accounts. Let's face it, if you were offered Johnson or Mirallas a week ago when nothing had arisen about Mirallas, I'm pretty certain that most people would have put 'Adam Johnson' as opposed to the little known Belgian. Fair play to you if you've watched the lad in depth over the last few seasons and think he'll fit in well, but I would say that's not many. I'm not claiming to have done so, in fact I've only seen him 2 or 3 times for the record.

I´m pretty excited about that Mirallas guy, he reminds me of pienaar, would be awesome to have such creativity on both flanks.

I bet teaming up with felli is a good thing for him too. Getting Johnson on loan would we awesome as well. :)

What about that french wonderkid from Caen? Is he on trial @ the farm as we speak?

johnson but we cant afford his wages, the lad can shoot outside from outside the box and has a great cross on him, pienaar/baines on the left and johnson on the right would be just what we need.

no point getting another striker unless on loan as we know moyes only likes to go with one,

you never know now cahill has gone maybe he will switch to a 4-4-2 stranger things have happened, although i do tend to believe naismith will fill that role.

Some of the goals Mirallas has scored suggest he's a far more productive player than Johnson. Johnson has some skill but we should have signed him from Boro for a pittance at the time, and I think we should let it go now, especially if we get Mirallas.

I don't know a whole lot about mirallas but it seems he plays both upfront and out wide Which is massively in his favour for a start . As ive said before I'm not convinced city want to loan the player but if they did we'd be paying a pretty substantial loan fee and wages probably twice what mirallas is on maybe £2m a year difference ? A transfer for Johnson with wages and overall package would possibly put him out of our league but even if it didn't he'd be a financial step up from the Greek.

I can only go on what incredibly small bits I know or hear on mirallas but if he's of a 'similar' lever to Johnson it certainly looks to make sense plus even if he fails he'll probably maintain a reasonable sell on price but Johnson on Massive wages wouldn't be easy to shift if he failed
