Died of an heart attack at 59 years old.

Loved some of his film like Ferris Beuller's Day Off, Uncle Buck, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Home Alone, The Breakfast Club, Weird Science.

Planes, Trains and Automobiles one of my all time fave comedies. He worked so well with John Candy, shame they are now both gone. RIP

I was in love with Molly Ringwald from about the age of 10 up. Still am to be honest.

'Breakfast club' still awesome even now. Quite a feat for the 80's. 59 is far too young, such a shame. Thoughts and prayers out to the family for someone who provided such joy and laughter to audiences over a hugely successful career.
