John Stones

man city when pep takes over...

50m min.

That probably under-values him but thats gotta be their starting bid.

I think John, Rom and others will stay, if the club looks like its going in the right direction, we really need to make a good run at both cups and show at least a hope that we can fight for a CL place.

I know it looks really bad currently, but if we can get rid of some players in the window and then sign 1 real player of quality its possible we could go on a little run and shoot up the table.

If we finish 11th again and win f all, think its pretty nailed on that we will lose AT LEAST Stones or Rom, possibly both.

and he did a good deed for the club by handing in the transfer request to get us more money. Rooney grew up as one of us and kissed the badge of another club.
Fellaini played great and kept silent during all the transfer speculation as well, very professional about the whole move.

Man Utd are at currently at an interesting place, with what looks to be a lame duck manager and not certain to get into the Champions league. Missing it once under Moyes was considered a blip, if they miss out a second time within 5 years it is likely to affect their recruitment of top players.

Given Man City have spent large amounts on Mangala and Oatamendi and still haven't fixed their defensive problems think they will be bidding in the summer.

A Utd fan I work with is convinced Stones is going to Utd in this window for 50 million+, and they're also going to offer 40 million for Lukaku. This can all be disregarded for the following reasons.

He believes everything he reads on twitter.
All of his info comes via talksport and twitter.
He thinks Lukaku is garbage.
He's a tit.

A lot of their fans still haven't gotten past the denial stage of grief from losing SAF and their ability to win the league.

Can see why Rooney did everything he did personally, he was young and the level of abuse he got over the years was pretty terrible, not even gonna pretend he didnt deserve it, the lads a scouser tho, not like hes gonna just ignore it. :p

Said this the other day.

United have fallen from the top table, just like the vermin did, both clubs have bags of money and will always be able to attract your money grabbing flash in the pans, but cant see any players with ambition going there.

He's not going anywhere and if we can perform to the end of the season, perhaps win silverware or qualify for Europe the chances lessen again.

A takeover with investment in the playing squad and for wage budgets would help too.

Would only sell to barca, bayern or real madrid. Can't be selling him in the prem or less than 50m pounds. Or just tell them to sod off haha

We really do need to find a way to up wages. Bit part players at arsenal, etc, are probably on the same or even higher wage than our top earners

With a top manager they might still be able to attract them but at the moment it looks like Giggs will be the chosen one after LVG which is hardly likely to set pulses racing.

I think, now forgive my pie in the sky thinking, Rom and John strike me as players with real ambition, as long as they see progress they would consider staying, more wages to throw at them would certainly help, but I think and im aware they both have utter vultures as Agents, their main focus will be progress from the football clab.

On another note, ive just watched Martinez press conference and while typing im typing with Robertos voice in my head saying the words.
