John Stones

The scary thing about stones is he growth he got to do in becoming a better defender. He still young and by the time he 25. He will be the complete defender.

As good a game as he had Besic was poor for their goal. Was far too close to Funes Mori and allowed a huge space for Aguero to pick the pass.

Still think Coleman needs to foul Aguero. Theres enough players there to prevent a booking and it allows us to get back, but i guess im nitpicking as it was a good counter attack.

Tbf to Seamus if you look back at Aguero's touch it was sublime. Totally wrong-footed Coleman and then he was in behind him in a flash. Not the best defending but sometimes you've got to admit that it was just a piece of world-class quality football.

If anything, and as good a game as he had, Besic gets dragged over towards Aguero and (even though he had a look) didn't see the danger of Navas. But I can understand why he came over, as Aguero looked like he was about to come on the inside of Mori.

Matt Scott from Inside World Football, on Talk Sport just then talking more nonsense, Everton can always be persuaded to sell if the money is right, cant see him being at Everton next season, can see him staying in the UK, think either United or Arsenal will come in for him ....etc

I heard that to, he Guaranteed them that he would not be at GP next summer. An said he won't go to Chelsea because there not in the CL, but would go to Utd( there aren't in the CL either and won't be). He also claimed he would have been sold to Chelsea for 50mil.

Said he be sold because Everton always take the money(even thought we turned down Chelsea, also no mention of our possible take over)

Pretty sure last season he claimed he'd be a Chelsea player for 20mil.

The MEN is banging on about Stones going to Man United next season. And some Spanish newspaper printed Pep Guardiola's apparent dream City team. Guess who was one of the defenders? :(

I wish the press would stop trying to flog him for us.

Bet some on here were jealous.....

As much as I really liked Feli, the money we got helped us get Rom, so no real hard feelings there for me.

and he did a good deed for the club by handing in the transfer request to get us more money. Rooney grew up as one of us and kissed the badge of another club.

A Utd fan I work with is convinced Stones is going to Utd in this window for 50 million+, and they're also going to offer 40 million for Lukaku. This can all be disregarded for the following reasons.

He believes everything he reads on twitter.
All of his info comes via talksport and twitter.
He thinks Lukaku is garbage.
He's a tit.

Coleman seemed to get back quite slowly, and there must be a suspicion that he was already hampered by his damaged calf muscle.
