I reckon Joey Barton would be great for Everton ( I think Moyes would bring the best out of him )

I know hes a bit of a nutter but hes still a young Lad and needs guiding ( We all make mistakes)

Gazza nearly signed for United and the rest is History

There's been plenty of talk about player power on here recently.

Well how much player power does Barton have knowing he can act like a complete tit yet will still get employment at the highest level because he happens to be able to kick a ball around well.

Do the people who don't want Anichebe or Heitinga or Pienaar to hold the club to ransom over money want our club to give out lucrative contracts to people like Barton just cause we are struggling a bit at the moment?

Gazza was one of the best english players of his generation....trying to buy him wasnt a mistake or gamble mate.

And we'll get mullered by Citeh big time.

Unless we unvail Tevez as a new signing in the next 10 hours in some weird transfer loop hole.

If our players were performing up to how we know that they can (i.e. last year), Joey Barton's name would have never been brought up.

Oh, and Hunt on Cech? Accident, pure and simple.
 

We really need someone with spirit and a fire in their belly - Cahill cannot do it on his own. Barton would fit in the right side of midfield, with Coleman doing the overlapping form the fullback position. I would love to see Barton here, and I agree that he is no worse than Cahill on the pitch, and he is a choirboy compared to Big Dunc.

Oh and get Adam in as well - play him next to Fellaini with Rodwell in front of them and Cahill on top. Bilay on the left and we should be ready to go.

Coleman, Baines and Rodwell will provide the pace.

Rodwell, Bilya, Barton and Adam all have a good shot and will be able to get those goals from outside the penalty area.

Baines, Bilay, Barton and Adam are also all good crossers of the ball and should be able to provide the crosses from Cahill - the greatest header of the ball in the league.
