I think Robles was at fault for one goal the 4th saved what he could including a pen!

Pickford is not good at low shots? It is probably his worst attribute.

Also his distribution is wild af and absolutely does not help us in possession at all..

I know the modern ball swerves a lot in the air, but why does the modern goalkeeper (of which Pickford is an annoying culprit) have to parry almost every shot to the feet of oncoming forwards, whatever happened to keepers like big Nev who actually held the ball fast, when it stuck to his gloves the ball was going nowhere.
It comes to something when a goalie in a 5-1 loss captures 20% of the MoM poll,don't think Robles did much wrong last night IMO always quite liked him and he's always appeared to give his best unlike the no mark central defence in front of him.

If we're mid table by Jabuary I think we'll cruise till next summers window and the new manager will be given some budget= then. In January I could guess at just a couple of signings...a striker from the Championship and a defender....with a punt at Luke Shaw or a reliable veteran centre back(but more mobile than Jagielka or Williams.,if Funes Mori is still out. Strangely enough, I still think that in the right managers hands we can turn this season round.
 
I do like Joel as he seems to have a great attitude, but he really isn't that good. If he was ever going to get in the team for a long run it was when the absolutely terrible Tim Howard was still here.

Unfortunately for him, Martinez persevered with Jumping Jack Howard rather than giving Robles a chance.
