Reminiscing about the slating I took 12 months ago for saying how bad he was since he left Ajax.

We actually paid 750k for him as well...

Pity we cant keep Robles and play him in some cup games...

lol tbf he shows heart tho when he plays for us like he's actually assed. Unlike some striker we had....

No way Robles is better than Tim Howard in his prime.

Impossible to say seeing as Robles has not reached his prime yet...

Howard was a tremendous athlete. His goalkeeping basics were pretty shocking.

We actually need another keep, I can accept Koeman wanted Pickford and that Joel wants to be a number one some place else, but Stek just isnt good enough to play in goal at any level, too much at stake, we need someone half decent to be behind pickford, maybe from the lower leagues ready to step up a bit

It us going to be really difficult though, Carlin....what with Pickford being so young.

Joel obviously cannot afford to gang around.....Stek is over the hill and happy enough to be back up.

Realistically we are going to have an up and coming goalie or a veteran.

Even aspiring lower league goalies in or approaching their prime are going to think twice about becoming back up to such a young man,

True that, im not sure what the solution is but we cant play Stek and I can see your point, another young player is going to know we have Pickford for the long term, so they have no chance.
What we going to do if Pickford gets injured or a red card? I wish we could offer Joel some kind of guarantee that will make him want to stay and give Pickford some competition

Really isnt a vast difference between Robles and Stek, both utterly average.

Robles was far better imo.

Don't understand the stigma around robles, he madr a couple mistakes early on in his everton career but last season proved he was good enough.
