It's Royle has to stay at the club in a influential role because he's a massive Blue
Ferguson has to stay in the coaching set-up - because he's a massive blue
Kenwright went the boys pen and is the worlds biggest blue

When reason for someone staying in role at the club is phrased more on who they are than what their competence is, thats when you have problems

Everything indicates Royle was doing a very good job in his role though. The standard and quality of loans he's coordinating has been very good.

Sad to see my first Everton hero leave but it appears amicable enough:

"While it just feels like the right time for me to take a break, I’ll still be around the place. I’ve been coming to Goodison for more than 60 years and I’m not going to stop now. I’ve always been an Evertonian and I will always be an Evertonian".

You said Kenwright was an Everton legend in his own mind for some reason when there is no indication that he thinks anything of the sort. It was just a really weird random pop at him.

Well of course not, I wouldn't have Kenwright down as a legend at all. But I don't think Kenwright has himself down as one either!

He has put himself in the Goodison hall of fame and won the Howard Kendall award.

I reckon he does think himself as a legend.

Here's a carriage clock, use it wisely.

His Evertonian legend status is not under any threat though, thanks for everything Big Joe.
