Heaton is actually the oldest of the bunch at 30, I don't think he'd have been the best option. If we're paying £25m for Bolasie I'd happily spend £30m on Butland, that'd be my first choice

Because a lot of people said a lot of unpleasant things at my expense when I said Forster was good enough for the PL, so I'm going to make sure I ram the point home that I was right and they were wrong. It's important to me that they're wrong

Unless he means experienced in terms of winning trophies at the highest level? Forster won loads in Scotland, but it's Scotland

I'm all for signing him don't get me wrong but I think there's more priorities in the rest of the team than in goal.
