I honestly think he'd be crazy to turn us down in favour of a move abroad to a Sevilla or a Dortmund because of the following reasons;
  • Wouldn't have to uproot his family, they can remain where they live
  • We can afford his wages so no paycut most likely
  • Stays in this league where he remains relevant and in Allardyce's view
  • Won't have to play two games a week so he gets more time to work on certain things
  • Knows several of our boys from England duty so he'd settle in quick
  • He'd be one of our main stars instead of just one of a bunch
If the bloke has any sense he'll walk here when we come calling.

"Unique Player Roles"?

You mean their position, right?

I can teach you Ray, no charge.

Lesson 1 :

The "false 10" or "central winger" is a new type of midfielder recently introduced to football, which differs from the false-attacking midfielder. Much like the "false 9," his/her specificity lies in the fact that, unlike a traditional playmaker who stays behind the striker in the centre of the pitch, her/his goal is to drift wide when in possession of the ball to help both the wingers and fullbacks to overload the flanks. This means two problems for the opposite midfield: either they let him/her drift wide, and his presence with both the winger and the fullback makes it three-on-two out wide; or they follow her/him, but leave space in the centre of the pitch for wingers or onrushing midfielders to take. False 10s are usually traditional wingers who are told to play in the centre of the pitch, and their natural way of playing makes them drift wide. This role is specifically meant to respond to the fact that more and more midfielders are fielded in the centre of the pitch.

Yes Hart is a good keeper, but was it him who won the titles or more the quality of the outfield?

By saying I'm not a fan, I mean, he is past his best, his personality, price tag and wages. I know we have money, but I don't agree with spending for the sake of it. That 20mil can go towards the dockslands land.

And remember we also have Joel for backup, who many wanted as first choice last season.

The ironic thing is that it was Hart who was sweet talking Stones into leaving Everton for City during the euros.

I do not think Stones needed much sweet talking however still smells.

And that never ever happened in football ever before did it!

Seriously, does my nut!

Aye. Inside Left really though.

He just needs to learn to concentrate more on the game, and less on the big screen up in the corner of the ground.

He'd probs get back to being a proper good keeper then, so if we can get him in and give him a couple of slaps in training every time he starts daydreaming about adverts for dandruff and so on, we might have a winner here.
