3. Can we get the same standard or superior for a better price if it isn't a loan? Yes.

No. Hart is in the top 5 keepers in the league (along with De Gea, Cech, Courtois and Lloris) and probably in the top dozen or so keepers in the world.

Just because he's had a few months of poor form doesn't make him a bad player.

Just because his distribution is one of the weaker parts of his game doesn't mean he isn't a top keeper (remember Big Nev?)

Don't get this. If we can get him here, we've pulled off a huge, huge coup.

We're also very lucky that circumstances have conspired to make this even remotely possible. At the moment we couldn't really hope to attract one of the other elite keepers in the world.

Turn it up mate ;)

I knew he wouldn't fit with Pep,as he likes keepers who can distribute the ball.

I knew him Yaya Nasri would be banished from his 1st team plans, the latter 2 don't have the work rate for a Pep side.

Be a step up from what keepers are at the club right now.

Good shot stopper, vocal and has leadership qualities and still young for a goal keeper who hasn't hit his prime years yet.

City want £30 million and don't want to loan him out according to the papers, has to be some some serious negotiations to get this deal done.

Been trying to think who I would rather have than Hart. Can't think of many

Plenty of promising goalkeepers around like Leno, Horn, Butland, Perrin etc but not many who are as proven top quality as Hart is

There aren't actually many around the world at the moment who are in that bracket. Loads who look like they will end up being there, but not many who are there right now.

I'll counter that by saying he was one of the worst going around at the Euros. A great Manager can't wait to offload him. Yet here are good old Everton supporters with movement in their pants.
Well I'll be...

He is absolutely a step up from what we have.
Crying out for this kind of signing in the goalkeeping department.

£30m because ' he is a step up from what we have' mate? We can find 50 keepers dare I say better than what we have at a better price.
On loan yes.

Won't argue with his horrendous form at the Euros, and even leading up to it I thought he wasn't at his best. Is that a permanent decline? Think it's premature to suggest that

As far as the great manager wanting to offload him goes - he has been pretty open about why this is the case. He needs his keeper to play almost like an outfield player. Hart, for all his strengths, can't do this. The stats back that up. Back to my original point, Neville Southall would also probably be being bombed out at City right now at his peak as his weakness was distribution too. Unlikely we will need our keeper playing the way Guardiola wants his keeper to play as the era of tiki taka at Goodison is no more.

Circumstances are our friend here. Pep sees him as being unable to play in his system. Other top clubs Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Spurs all have top drawer keepers. Liverpool have just bought a new keeper, that leaves us as probably the biggest club in the league who are looking for a top keeper.

That's about the going rate for a decent player in this market mate.
If money isn't an issue...
Picking up a great keeper for 30million is a steal in my mind.
If we get him on loan, well that's great too.
He's going to be highly motivated after what's happened at City.
Highly motivated, top class keeper in his prime years, leader in the dressing room and on the field, what are we complaining about again?
Oh, he comes across as a bit of a nobhead, and does some commercial promotions, yeah lets not sign him then.

Just imagine
Hart , in front of him Williams : jags and kone: protected by gueye and barry...that will stop leaking goals and no more bournemouth; west ham and norwich...deffo 12 more points alone before we start playing
