The more this is going on - City replacing him, Barca getting a new keeper, even Chelsea picking up a decent back up - the more I feel its not a bad idea to pick him up.

Interesting. No offence meant or implied toward your friends. However, newspapers and agents have been known to tell a tale or two, so I always take them with a very fine grain of salt. Of course, on the same token, managers will also "bend the truth" a bit when it comes to dodging tricky questions. If that is the case here, then I think RK could have made a better job of it, like simply "I do not wish to talk about transfer speculation now." All very odd, considering the amount of rumour smoke - no smoke without fire. Question is, how big was/is the fire?
