Lots of room hopefully increase her favourables as people get to know her. Could go the other way too of course.
Either way, VP favourability rarely has a huge impact.

It’s truly astonishing that 39% of people still reckon Trump is doing a good job. Quite frightening that they walk around looking (for the most part) like regular people.

There's still room for movement, but as of today, the idea that you;d look at Harris and think as a VP she is going to be a major deadstone around Biden is just not borne out from the numbers at this stage. In the same poll 52 V 30% view the appointment as positively. All the numbers suggest that Harris is a very good appointment, and will strengthen Biden. It would be sensible for Trump to avoid attaking her.

Re popular unpopular. In America it's very polarised. 2 party system fairly evenly split, quite different to here. If he's your leader, it's unlikely you're going to view what he isdoing as negative really. What does Trump do that most Republicans dislike?
