It may well do. Look how effective and resilient he has made the black life’s matter movement. He’s pouring gasoline all
over that every time he speaks.

Biden may be more competent at calming it down and snuffing it out.

Four more years of Trump would mean an end to abortion, an end to gay marriage as a national right.
It would see him strip the EPA down even further leading to a generation of new environmental damage.
It would further balloon the national debt and lead to a drastic reduction in welfare subsidies as he gets the poorest to pay for tax breaks for the richest.
It would lead to dreamers being deported. Adults who were brought here as babies with no say, being sent to countries where they don't have any connection.
It would lead to solidified relations with Saudi and Russia while EU relations crumble.
It would lead to a continued high turnover of staff and the erosion of trust in national institutions
It would lead to the further stripping of essenital parts of gov't that he doesn't deem essential.
It would mean the further sale of federal park lands to oil companies.
It would lead to continued scandal after scandal with the likelyhood of another impeachment being high.
The likes of OANN would replace fox and society continues to fracture.
And most of all it would deepen the divide between right and left and threaten the future of the Union

but yea, a competent president mightn't be so incendiary that people won't feel the need to march in their hundreds of thousands

If you waste your vote you solidify the two party system. Both parties want the system to remain as it is.
You change the system by changing how we vote so that we can vote third party and not spoil our vote.
Then you change the system by making sure there is a liberal majority on the SC so we can overturn citizens united.
That's two steps off the top of my head.
Voting third party at the moment does the opposite of changing the system.

Funny how his hero Sanders gets away scot free.

Sanders claims not to be a Democrat and leans further left. He had a chance to create his own party.

I wonder why he didn't do that if all of his supporters are so enlightened and think its so easy like death does.

one of my main gripes with Sanders is that by neither being one thing or the other, he gave himself zero chance of succeeding while creating a whole swathe of progressives who are so angry with the Democratic party that they'll hand Trump an advantage.

Say you vote for Jill Stein because she's a Green, if she doesn't make 50% of the vote, she gets eliminated and her second preference gets counted and so on till a candidate crosses 50%.
What this does is it lets you vote third party without spoiling the vote.
It gives third parties some momentum to work off as they can say 'I got 28% of the first preference vote', basically give themselves credibility.
It would also see a growth in third parties and third party organizing.
If it was adopted across the country, it would give the likes of Sanders the option to run as a third party candidate.

Well why didn't you just vote for a more rational faith when the Church came up for reelection? The Unitarians would've countenanced reproductive rights and probably even offered free guitar lessons. Your failure to bring them in to replace the Roman Catholic faith makes me doubt your commitment to progressive values.
