Bit unfair on Biden mate Biden, at least he’s a seasoned politician and has taking money off corporations his whole life. He knows the game and will implement capitalism in its purist form. Gotta champion Biden.
I’d certainly like to see capitalism done properly it’s never happened in my life time.

well it’s the core principle of infinite growth with finite resources. How could you fault it.

The Clinton crime bill caused havoc on the black community. Joe Biden helped write that.

“if you don’t vote for me you ain’t black.”

Scum.

He did and there are other issues like busing that Harris brought up in the primary. And yet Biden consistently had the highest % support of African American primary voters, indeed it was their support that rescued his campaign.

JOHNSON: Yeah. So, you know, black voters, like every other voters, considers the whole of a candidate when thinking about them, just like they've looked at Joe Biden's busing record in the '70s and his '94 signing of the crime bill.

GREENE: There's also the way he handled the Anita Hill testimony and...

JOHNSON: That's right. That's right. But it's sort of like the old Janet Jackson song, "What Have You Done For Me Lately?" And in the last 10 years, Biden has been Obama's vice president. And so that tends to override whatever policy decisions he made four decades ago. That's one. The other are - most black voters, something on the order of 70%, identify as moderate or conservative. Only just over a quarter identify as liberal.

I don’t wanna beat the condescending “voting against their best interests” drum. And this sounds like i think im superior when you say things like this but when it comes to the masses they are misinformed out the wazoo.

But it’s not to point the finger at these people. People are bogged down in an unfair working class environment struggling. They don’t have the time and energy and fight to get informed in a deep way and think hard. Reality tv or controlled mainstream media praying on fear and emotion not intellectual thought. The system is well oiled.

That you who don’t even live in the US know far more about what is best for these voters than they do themselves - yep that does sound incredibly condescending.

I know how it sounds and anyone can disregard it on that basis if they choose. It’s the same the world over in different extremes. I hope any my American toffees don’t think I’m pig ignorantly just yanky bashing.

No but I do think you take for granted some key provisions/protections you enjoy that are far more ephemeral in US like right to vote, chances of getting shot/killed, access to healthcare etc that are an integral part of American’s decision making process of who to vote for.

Not an American Toffee, but I don’t think you’re yank bashing at all. I think you’re acting like Biden’s actions 30-40 years ago are more relevant than those of the last 10-15yrs so you can spend all your time criticising him, because he had the temerity to beat your candidate of choice.

And Trump and Biden are top choices out of all the men and women in the USA.
