It would be great if JO is coming for a season long loan.

By the way, anyone know what is happening with the Shkodran Mustafi and Anton peterlin transfer deal, has it been completed or it would be sorted soon?

Had a pre contract agreement, so it looks like he's joining. I'm sure I read somewhere Anton Peterlin flew into Liverpool today, to sign a one year deal. Could've been the NSNO website.

Jo offers us something differentl to what we have, hes at his best playing withdrawn. He was the catylist for some brilliant link up play during his loan spell at different times with Arteta, Pienaar and Osman in praticular. He offer us offers us a threat centrallyin his build up play and movement which is quite clever something we havnt had in a while.

A yes for me and hopefully he will develop a bit more, woudl still like us to get Owen though.

Jo on another loan was an absolute cert - been saying it since his first few games for us.

We don't have the money to buy him and even if we did, I doubt we would pay a good amount, this and Man City and Hughes wouldn't want to look like tools for losing so much so quickly for a reduced fee.

Man City don't want him languishing about - at least if he is at us he is getting some exposure.

The only chance of it not happening was another team coming in for Jo - but again, it would have been for a greatly reduced fee and am not sure Hughes would have been keen. At least for now he can keep the old "Hes getting experience" line going while people gradually forget about the fee he paid.

Also with them buying many other players in Jo's transferfee range, some of them might very well become flops, or at least unsettled in the team and since they would probably sell them for less, just to get rid of their salaries... he can do the same with Jo without much trouble. Hide his precious mistake among the new ones, so to speak.

We should sign him quickly , so he can have a full pre-season.....It would be a good move IMO. although would he want to sit on the bench alongside Saha or will Davey play 2 up top?

It's been a dead cert for a while tbh.

I like Jo, good footballer. His movement and link up play is boss at times but he's very raw and too inconsistent to pay a top price for at the moment. Give him a pre season and abit more time to get used to the Premiership and he'll be a very good player.

I got a text this morning off my mate who knows someone who works at finch farm and he said Jo was there this morning.

He's a potential all rounder, just like Saha and Yakubu. They can all do a bit of everything, come deep and link things up or play off the last man and look to get in behind.

He fits into our system perfectly basically and it'd be a great loan signing if Moyes can pull it off.

He may not score as many goals of Michael Owen but I do think he's more suited to us and the way we play.

Seems strange, if we get him on loan, there had better be a buy option that we can afford. Also if he does come, I think we should be looking at getting rid of either Saha or Anichebe. Maybe both. We only need The Yak, Vaughan and Jo. Plus we got super Tim and World Class Fellaini.

Anichebe will probably be sold or get loaned out for a season.

I think James Vaughan will get another chance to prove he's got what it takes to be a player here.

He is, theres no doubt about it.

In saying that though, I would have liked Owen here simply because when he plays, he scores.
