Anichebe will probably be sold or get loaned out for a season.

I think James Vaughan will get another chance to prove he's got what it takes to be a player here.

He needs a full season really. Anything less and anymore injuries I think thats it for the lad. His main problem is going to be limited chances. Its up to him to take his chance when he gets it. I would like to think he can, but time will tell.

He is, theres no doubt about it.

In saying that though, I would have liked Owen here simply because when he plays, he scores.

True, that's why I'd have never ruled out signing Owen despite not being a big fan.

I think Yakubu, Saha, Jo, Cahill and Fellaini will all score goals though. Maybe Vaughan if he keeps himself fit. We'll be fine in that department, if they stay fit!

A lot are saying the year long deal has been done with an option to buy for 8mill.

Am looking forward to this, i think he will be a great foil for the Yak dropping deep and splitting defences. I also liked the way he Arteta and Pienarr and Osman linked up with some imaginitive play, first time in yonks i remember a threat coming form deep centrally, if he can hit the peak of his talent it could be a tremdous deal- whos to say after a Moyesey preseason he wont.

All in all, am happy with this, Shrewd signing. (if true)

I'd be delighted with that.

Something I said a few months ago was I think this loan deal was already done before it was done.

We pay a small instalment each loan with it increasing each time. Next season we will loan him again. At the end of that season, we will pay City about £5million, and we will buy him.

Just what I think.

Can't see Jo's value going much lower myself. But If this is true I think this will be great. No cup tied problem and excellent folly for Saha late on. Jo's youth and one on one ability Moyes will work on. For me if he is the only one we can afford it's a positive summer. However, I still expect a right back and young midfielder but not costing the big bucks.

I don't understand why Jo has come in for some stick from some fans. I think, apart from the Newcastle (Away), Jo's been sound and if we can get him on another year loan, we should.

Absolutely agree. He was breath of fresh air with his talent. Looking to see how him and Yak get on. Could be a interesting year.(y)

Glad to have him back tbh!

Rumours doing the rounds that he's gone to Scotland with the rest of the team. Don't know how true that is though!

i agree though, don't know why he's come into all this stick. He's looked really good and hopefully this loan has the option to buy at the end of it.

I think under a full season under Moysie he will be even better than last season. Who knows, he scored 2 golazos in his debut, maybe he will get a hat-trick this season whenever he debuts :D

If I knew he would do that.. I'd save him for the first derby of the season. First letting the [Poor language removed] take the lead with 2-0 and then with 3 mins left of the game sub him in just to make their fans choke when the final whistle is blown. :D
