MANCHESTER CITY misfit Jo is back off to Everton on loan. The Toffees have made their move to take the £18million Brazilian, 22, for the whole of next season. And City boss Mark Hughes is willing to let him leave because he has hardly any chance of getting into the first team. Jo scored five goals during a loan spell at Goodison Park last season.

I really hope Moyes sorts this out. I like Jo as a footballer, he links play well and seemed to really enjoy his time with us. A full preseason with Auntie Phil looking after him, young and with something to prove it all looks good to me. Moyes also tends to agree a first option price on these season long loans so if he really does well, we could be laughing.

Oh yeah and no Owen :yahoo:

I'd be happy with this. Once the Yak is back I think we'll be fairly strong up front, so no point wasting a load of our budget on a new striker in my opinion. Jo did reasonably well for us and like others have said, a full season should give him plenty of time to settle in properly and show us what he can do. Get it sorted Moyesey la (y)

And yes this would mean we wouldn't have to sign Owen, which is a Brucie bonus :)

Worth a full season IMO...especially as Yak n all will still be recovering from their long-term injuries. Big season for Vaughn this could be make or break for him.

Great positional sense, good touch, nice foot work, hold up play and link up can be superb. Needs to use his right foot more, put himself about a bit, and definately get his shooting boots on.

If he comes, a good pre season with the Yak and he'll be a very good asset to have.

I agree, he needs to start workin his socks off, thou i don't think he has it in him. i'd give him a miss even thou he did hav a good scorin record wit us last season

Would love to get him on a season long loan deal, preferably with option to buy. Really started to like him during last seasons spell. Get him in now and let him get a full pre season under his belt. No doubt he has lots of potential.

Fortunately he has good enough skills (as Kenada Blue pointed out) so he won't have to try to get fans on his side by headless chicken running just to show the fans he's the "hard working" guy, because he's not. Same thing with Yak and Saha.

And loan would be a great great move by Moyes, considering that we would not only got an additional striker, but we would also end our interest in Owen.

Fairly good description of BT actually.

Jo proved his worth this spring when he was with us and got the fans on his side in his first game for us. Hopefully, if he returns on a season loan, he will continue to build on that.

Jo in... Vic out?
It's an automatic no-brainer.

Still need a right-sided midfielder and a right-back.
