He was an Everton player before my time,but over 300 games for the Blues,winning a league and Fa Cup as well as having stints as a coach and caretaker manager certainly makes him an Everton legend in my eyes,RIP Jimmy.

As a teenager in the mid 90's waiting for players signatures after games he was superb and always took the time of day to chat with us.

Is there no end to sad news today?
So sad to find out about his passing. A regular in the team when I first started attending the games. What an underrated player he was. He was Everton through and through. I am genuinely upset hearing this. Legend is a word scattered around too freely these days, but no issue whatsoever with describing Gabby as one.
