It's noticeable how people are talking about us already after a few games. Yesterday on talksport Durham was talking about how he doesn't think (I forget who) is that good a midfielder and he said something along the lines of 'is he is as good as Kante at Chelsea or Idrissa Gueye at Everton? No.'

Garth Crooks has continued to baffle football fans and infuriate Liverpool supporters by claiming the Reds are in danger of getting into a relegation fight this season.
The BBC pundit was back with his team of the week on Sunday and was reacting to Liverpool’ shock defeat to Burnley over the weekend.
Liverpool were brushed aside by a clinical Burnley side despite dominating possession and the performance has seems to have energized Crooks who was singled out as a crazy man for suggesting Alberto Moreno could drag his team into the Championship.
‘What happened to Liverpool? Last week, I said that if they didn’t replace Alberto Moreno at left-back they would get relegated,’ Crooks wrote for BBC Sport.

While we think they are all absolute melts, a lot of 'football' fans are really into Jim White, Soccer AM, Talksport and the rest of that gaggle of insufferable self congratulating idiots.

Moshiri knows that to increase the profile of EFC outside of our normal fan base, he has to engage with them.

I hate it but its just part of football now.
 

Maybe there is a strategy to it?
Maybe they are trying to use the countries biggest sports media company and personality to build the profile of the club?
Could be part of a long term strategy?

I am not particularly comfortable with it but if we are to raise our profile, using Sky etc is a sound move.

Spot on. I'm baffled at some of the posts in here. He hosts a popular show on a big radio station for sport and is the most well known face on SSN. He's an obvious person to communicate with.

Is White trying to get a job at Everton? Perhaps he feels he can revamp our communications strategy?

If so, the first thing he would tell Moshiri is to stop sending texts to 'journalists' such as himself.
