The irony.

Saunders got this gig on foot of his "hilarious" story, told on talkSPORT, about a drunken Brian Clough crawling around on all fours during contract negotiations.

That is more "disrespectful" to the Clough family and the memory of Brian than Ronald stating an incontrovertible fact.

The Kopite bugger.
 
Moshiri is a smart businessman, most on here are probably not. Don't you think it's a good idea to trust him? Just raising the club's profile, is what i view it as.

It is a pity someone didn't call in and ask him point blank to confirm Moshiri sent those texts on or around last day of the transfer window.

(though to be honest, I think Murray was grandstanding and pandering to the cult audience......he is going back to the BBC and I would risk betting a sporting quid this was already agreed before he took the "moral high ground")

I don't often listen to Durham these days but I heard him a bit yesterday talking about the donation to the Sunlun lid.

He said "Everton are a very classy club....every time I go there I am impressed with the friendliness of the people connected with the club...going to Everton is my favourite venue when presenting Match Day Live"

(Not quite verbatim but near enough)

He said along the lines of: "A lot of Everton fans were vocal about the text I received from Mr Moshiri on deadline day, asking 'was he really texting Jim White?' - well yes, I can confirm he did text me and he has done again today."

Really I stopped listning to it adverts every 10 minutes etc - my son heard it yesterday so I asked him how did they rate our win 3-0 away - he just stated they spent more time saying how bad Sunderland were, and their future under DM - if tru really no club as yet thumped then except us!

The only part of TS I heard all day was when Durham was saying how "classy" Everton is :)
