We will need squad players, so I wouldn't rule out another loan. I wouldn't be paying £20M for the lad though. Maybe a few run outs in his favoured position might show what he's capable of, but he'd need to impress in training to get ahead of our other central options. He's not the answer on the right wing though.

I'd be shocked if he's on the radar of Everton again in the summer.

0 goals, 1 assist isn't the kind of return I think Moyes will be looking for in a player.

How many Everton players is it in hospital beds this season? Bit ridiculous really. We won’t do anything in the foreseeable future if we can’t keep players fit. That’s Branthwaite, Patterson, Coleman, Garner, Iroegbunam, Mangala, McNeil, Ndiaye, Lindstrom, Calvert Lewin, Broja, Chermiti all with significant long term injuries picked up in just this season (and it’s not even over yet)

It’s actually probably easier to list the players who have managed to stay mostly available all season.

A state of affairs that cannot continue if we want to push on.
