We can't be spending £20 million on a player who's ceiling we already know,it has to be a younger player with potential to be worth a lot more.

I wouldnt say he's a waste. He's 24 so its not like theres no sell on value.
He's played every game under Moyes and i think he's contributed in all the wins.
i think theres a player there. Hes only been here 5 minutes.

You can't be an attacker and not contribute in the final third to the extent that he is struggling to currently.

It's also true that the way we're playing right now just doesn't really work without someone who can do what he does in the middle and defensive thirds on the right.

A permanent deal would be a bad choice.

In my opinion it’s a waste just about have him here on loan never mind spending money on him beyond wages. Don’t think having O’Brien behind him helps either tbh so maybe a better RB option would help him but I’d rather look elsewhere.

He's played every game in the wins thats dragged the club away from relegation under the new manager. Its a bit harsh saying he's a waste full stop lol.
