Actually three, young, Keane and Tim.

Not sure what your point is though as Moyes has started him pretty much every game

I guess my point is mate - the hypothesis that he’s the first name in the team sheet is in jeoordy if we had a fully fit squad. It’s your point really, I’m just not as sure as you.

All fit has he done enough to earn a starting spot - wouldn’t put a lot of money on it and if I did I’d want good odds.

Could’ve, should’ve had a goal and a few assists tonight. That’s the story of his season, could’ve and should’ve. One of those tonight would’ve changed the story of this thread.

Interesting comparison between him and Alcaraz who overall did not have a good performance but still got some stats to his name.

I want to believe a goal will break open the floodgates. 🥹

You look at what NDiaye has done.

Alcaraz in 1 game has given a goal and assist.

You can't carry players in the final third who lack the cutting edge. It's dictated us being crap for too long.

If we can't find a better player this summer for what he'd cost then I'd be very concerned.
I agree but I’m hanging onto the fact he has been getting better under Moyes, playing more passing football compared to chasing long balls all over the place. I’m desperate for him to get a goal as you can see from his reaction when he misses a chance he is distraught. I think a goal could life a weight of his shoulders and give him some confidence.

And since he's been given the starting role by Moyes we are 5 games played, 4 wins and a draw and Moyes keeps selecting him to play.

Maybe yanno the manager knows better...
Then again he also plays that donkey O'Brien who Dyche rightly ignored ....

But how the side performs with you in it doesn't seem to matter unless you are Doucoure
Assists is a pointless stat as far as I'm concerned, if he lays it on a plate to a striker and striker misses the chance the one who provides the assist gets no acknowledgement whatsoever, I'd sooner judge a player on chances created

I think hes got a bit about him. Like beto. If he can nick a goal he might get a jump in confidence. I wouldnt be to quick to write him off.
Did a job tonight.
Moyes keeps picking him as well so he's doing a job for the team, it might not be eye catching all the time but he's being picked so Moyes obviously sees something in him

Could have had at least 1 assist today with a great pass/cross to Beto which he put straight on the keeper, so I agree with you
