2024/25 Jesper Lindstrom

Yeah so far I see more of the assist to the assist game in Lindstrom. Illy has got incredible moments of individual brilliance but I feel Lindstrom could really get the team build up going more like Pienaar
Jep, he‘s less of an end product than Ndiaye, but certainly our 2nd best winger in the club.

Had a good game but steady on, it was one game, against a Spurs defence, a side battered by injuries and 19th/conceded the most in the last 6 form league.

Has to take that confidence now into the next few games.

Good points. Let's see how he does in the next couple, does he revert to type or does he continue the good form against Brighton and Leicester

It was a bit, but for the first time in probably a couple of years he was enjoying himself on the pitch. Looked like a good footballer Sunday, just needs to keep it up
Ey listen...I was made up with him Sunday.

Hopefully he keeps it's going.

But all that flip up nonsense isn't for me...made me cringe.

Does this mean am morphing into a miserable Everton da ha?

haha I know exactly what you mean

I'm afraid you may be heading in that direction and you're not the only one, the kids would love it though

he got carried away bless him! Moyes will probably put an end to that nonsense 😂

Pretty much how I feel about the team full stop. We've been so starved of anything positive for so long that it's nice to have some small optimism again, and it was good to see him playing well, but I'll reserve judgement for now.

It's a sad indictment of how bad we've been that an effort like that is being lauded the way it is. He put in a solid, hardworking performance with a little sprinkling of quality and you'd think it was a performance for the ages. It was a big step in the right direction but frankly he'll need to do more than that between now and the end of the season to make signing him permanently look like a good idea. If he keeps playing like that we should stay up though, so fingers crossed.
