How did you love John Spencer? Even as a younger blue, he scored 1 disallowed goal...

Joe Max Moore was a decent, hardworking, player and was underrated in my opinion. He scored some fantastic goals, and played wherever he was asked, including Midfield for a while.

But for some reason, there are a fair few of our former players who get retroactively and unfairly labelled as crap by some people. It seems its almost the cool thing to just dismiss them offhand, so they where crap because they played in bad sides. Joe Max Moore, Carl Tyler, Slaven Billic, Marco Metterazzi, Mikael Madar, Allesandro Pistone... There's more, but these are the ones that always annoy me. The players that it seems are cool to hate.

I'd score 40 goals a season playing in Scotland while playing at centre back ffs. he's always been gash. Unfortunately his first few months here were a fluke.

Harsh mate, he had a fluxant time at Everton and then his oppurtunites were limited, he had an impact here and he wouldnt be the first striker to go of the boil under our former stewardship, hes done well at Hull - dont think he fitted into Bobertos system.

I expect hes a 10-15 goal man at this level.
