I hope we are not paying his wages...he wants to go that's fine, then bring on the offers. He is under contract for another season whether he likes or not.

I wouldn't pay him off....the guy is on breach of his contract by not turning up for work...rather than pay him off, cancel the contract and save on the last year of his wages
There’s no point paying him off unless he accepts less than what he is due from his contract. If someone takes him on loan and only pays say £10k of his wages that is better for us than buying out his full contract.

Surely he is in beach of contract , and therefore should be dismissed, and thereafter sued over the breach , by the club ?.
