Three years left on Gueye's contract.

He was going nowhere and he knew it.

Brands was a pushover for a buying club who knew how to handle him and make sure they only paid a small fee for a player they wanted.

Wtf lol his age as well, he DESERVED a crack at big time Dave simple as that NOTHING to do with brands, give the man an Effin chance ffs

THIS is the big time. The PL is the only game in town club-wise.

FFS, when did we subvert Everton's needs to fulfill the ambitions of someone who gave his word when he signed for us it;d be for 5 years?

Bollocks to players. They are covered in law by Bosmans.

If they don’t want to stay, the contract can be enforced with all the ramifications. Don’t expect rising stars to want to get tied in to contracts they can’t get out of at Everton.
Agents won’t even bother picking up the phone.

We got 30m for a VERY, VERY average VERY, VERY limited player who is currently stinking out a farmers league.

He should be praised.

I don't understand the every 2 years bit honestly. They even have it the same time as the World Cup, no?

having it every two years helps generate more revenue for CAF and African football which is badly needed then having it on a 4 year cycl

BTW it’s a massive deal on the African continent and whose countries grind to a halt during their nation’s games

How the money is spent by CAF is another discussion all together

Gbamin looked off the pace before he got hurt

The Premier League is faster than continental Europe and Gbamin is obviously going to need time to adjust and bed in

Hopefully he’s fit for pre-season so we have a whole summer to prep him and he’s ready both physically and mentally for next season, because we’re going to need him
