Well that's the thing mate - Gomes is clearly an exception to the rule.
He's the only player I can think of in the last five years that we've managed to get back either ahead of or on schedule.
Every other injury we've either made worse or failed to deal with it at the time.
Honestly it's been a worry of mine for a long time now. I remember when Bolasie did his knee v Utd and our physio told him to play on for five minutes.
