I think what the argument kinda' comes down to is how we get good...there's a certain satisfaction in earning your reward and not the fast track. Hangers-on will always come with success, I'd just like to see success come off the back of this squad busting their nut for it. Ideally I'd like to see our squad just give it everything and not bottle to attain glory. Some morally questionable billionaire injecting infinity minus 1 quid into the club wouldn't really have a sense of achievement. That said winning things and playing in the CL would still be nice. But I'd rather see Martinez come into the club and build us into the top 4 force he promised. Hopefully the board won't prove too much of an obstical for him.
