2025/26 Jarrad Branthwaite

Yep, something is definitely not right with his situation. Based on the initial injury, he's been out for a long time.
The silence on his progress can't be a good thing.
Moyes said the other day he was close to coming back so they aren't keeping silent. His initial injury is kind of irrelevant now, he had an operation more than 2 months after it and didn't return to training for another 6 weeks after that so of course the timeframe is skewed. Don't forget he didn't have a proper pre-season, he was never going to be back playing a week after returning to training, he's not kicked a ball for 6 months.

Hope that's the case, i just find the lack of dates after this amount of time slightly worrying.

I'm not saying everything's definitely fine and he's going to be back better than ever on Saturday, just that there's no point saying stuff like 'the club are keeping silent' when they aren't, they're answering questions about him in press conferences etc and have provided updates about where he's up to. I think when Moyes said in the last week of December that he'd be back 'maybe by the end of the month' he probably meant January rather than within a day or two, but some people seemingly took it the other way.

Let's not rush this fella back when the season is effectively over if we lose at the weekend.
How do you reckon the "the season will be effectively over.."? If that is what you really do think, and it would be no longer worth going to the league games, fair enough. There are loads of fans without tickets who will hope you and others like you stop going and sell your seats.
