Whilst it would be nice to keep wages down he should really be getting somewhere near Tarkowski which the internet is reporting as 100k a week. I know Tarkowski is captain & experienced but Branthwaite is a future captain & has years on Tarkowski. Pay them the same & keep our defensive harmony.
He's our best player and should rightly be the top earner.

I'd personally tie his, Ndiaye, Gueye and Pickford's wages as they're our only four genuinely class players that would slot straight into most teams in the league. Doucoure was on a reported 120 grand a week, match that for the four of them and give Gueye a two-year deal (2027), Branthwaite a six-year old (2031), Ndiaye a three-year one (2028) and Pickford a four-year one (2029). That doesn't blow our wage structure out of the park or really hurt our salary-to-turnover ratio, especially with the players lost this window: the additional wages are more than covered by the loss of 80 and 120 grand a week Calvert-Lewin and Doucoure respectively, never mind the other 200-odd grand a week we're saving on other players leaving.

Why 3 for Ndiaye? If 5 years the added benefit is the remaining amortisation on his deal is spread across 5 years.

I don’t think giving him kids is gonna sweeten the deal in all honesty.
