I assumed a new deal would have one TBH.
Suspect there will be all sorts of stipulations in any release clause, ie teams has to be playing in CL, has to be activated by end of July, only active in summer window etc etc.

If the clause exists though, there is a general acknowledgement that at some point there will be a move and everyone is protecting their positions.
