2024/25 Jarrad Branthwaite

Most rumours are complete nonsense. I read a few reports Tottenham are considering a bid for Branthwaite. Have a day off.

Levy is as tight as a you know what so yep it's realistic that he will suddenly bid circa £80+ million for Branthwaite!

Chelsea really like Colwill and they have invested a lot of time into him. He's a promising young left footed centre back. It doesn't really make much sense for them to buy Branners.

Utd is a non starter for so many reasons (no European football, highly unlikely they can afford him due to PSR).

Madrid just signed the young Bournemouth centre half.

Liverpool makes sense on paper but not in practice which leaves City (they have about 8 centre backs) and Newcastle (Dan Burn factor) so I see Branners staying this summer - next summer will be when it gets interesting. I think he stays with European football and moves on without it.
100%...

The window after he had left we brough in Beto and Chermiti for a combined £37m. I'd say that isn't the worst business in the world. A CF who is proving he can score goals in this division and an extremely promising younger CF, who looks a player from the cameos we've seen.
I`ve not seen much of Chermiti so far but hope that he`ll have a big contribution next season. I`m looking forward to seeing what Beto can do through a full season where he has a chance to be first choice up front. He got very little game time until DCL pulled up lame against Brighton and when he did get a start he made a very good contribution towards our upturn in form.

Looks a bit lightweight to me skilful, but easily knocked off the ball .....

If somebody bids £120 million and we want to cash in I don't really care who it is, as long as it's not the rs. Personally think we need to keep him for another season and review the situation then

this is what id been thinking but the fear always sets in

just so used to losing our best players now

even Gordon was one of them where I was like ... he's fine. he can be a decent premier league player for us, no one will be that interested in him in the way Rooney, Barkley and Rodwell were courted.

but no, 12 months after breaking into the side he's gone

hoping the new regime means we're less inclined to sell. i think we need some statement signings in soon though to convince JB it's worth sticking around

Biggest statement signing is Branthwaite on a new 5 year deal and vice captain under Tarkowski (Coleman to back room staff)

Like to think its a new Everton under TFG…all indicators so far it is…since came in. No drama/no mess/ just running the ship…no appearances on sky, no leaks, no club going to fold in 3 months unless we sell. Most of time only time we hear after its occurred by tweet on official account.

FFS. 16 hours time difference ... the same aggregator site. Time to put this particular thread on ignore until August

That's quite some spin Ron. Perhaps you missed your vocation.

An alternative view is ....one of the most technically deficient centre forwards we've ever had and a young player who has made no impression and isn't challenging for a starting role.

The truth is probably somewhere in between but I can't in all honesty say that that was £37 million well spent.

I'm a news anchor. Spinning things is what do.

Put it this way, I'd rather have Beto and Chermiti, than Anthony Gordon is my squad.

Stay Classy, Jazzy!

Dont think we will sell Branthwaite. But we will have this every single window now with him been linked by the press trying to get him a move to whoever they fancy him going too at that time

Good read that, don‘t like to read 2027 tho, as it could mean one year left next year and likely a lower exit fee in case he decides against an extension.
