Brilliant performance, calm, composed, wonderful on the ball and ready for the battle.

Sort a new contract, Give him what he wants wages wise and throw the armband at him.

England cb and probably skipper for years and years.

If any scab comes sniffing it’s offers of £150 million plus or gtfo.

I take your point, but fear we are too far from any real success for Jarrad to think it’s worth staying for long. Particularly if clubs with a legitimate chance of silverware come calling.

Obviously I’d love for Jarrad to stick around and for us to build a team around him… but fear it may be the next wonderkid we produce who might actually have good reason to stick around.
We've been saying that since Francis Jeffers!

Hopefully we can show him over the next few month we're a team worth sticking round for.

I've very much glass half full as far as the clubs future is concerned, hopefully he'll feels the same👍

If he's staying this summer then we need to get him on a new contract. Otherwise he'll only have 1 year left at the end of next season and we'll be over a barrel

It really seems like he’ll be off in the summer. United or Chelsea will come calling again and we’ll sell for 70-80mil or so to fund the squad overhaul. Can’t really see it going differently unfortunately.

We need to bring in about 10 players. Don’t see how that happens without at least one significant sale and Branth is the only real options. Hope I’m wrong.
We probably see things a bit different.

I see Moyes wanting to build round the likes of Branthwaite not selling him fund a spree.

We'll have a bit of clout to spend in the summer, this is something am not losing sleep over.

I think it can happen because all we've been doing for 3 years solid is selling. We have absolutely loads of overhead.

Whether or not they *want* the extra 70m or whatever to fund more expensive incomings is another question, but I'm pretty sure we don't *have* to. Window funds aren't done on a window-by-window basis.

Edit: as an example, in order to match the total net transfer spend of any one of Forest, Palace, Villa, Leeds or West Ham since 2021, we'd have to spend around £250m this summer, and they'd have to spend nothing at all. That's obviously not exactly how budgets are worked out, but it gives you an idea how much room we have to work with when PSR looks at the last few years of spending.

if he’s got any sense or a good agent he’ll steer clear of united. where careers go to die. bruno fernandes only player who has gone there since ferguson left and actually got any better/had their profile enhanced

chelsea is a worry though if interested , hopefully they see colwill and the lad from fulham as their men

All good points. I’m also not sure our new overlords will want to pump that type of cash in during a single window though. Interesting summer coming up.
