January Transfer Window 2026

This will be Bowen's last chance of getting into a World Cup squad. Does he honestly get it staying at West Ham getting the pelters every week? All Moyes has to say is "come home, son" :pint2:
I was thinking about him before when I was watching West Ham's defeat to Notts Forest. If it were not for Moyes, I would not think that we'd stand a chance of getting him. However, with Moyes at the helm, we could at least stand some chance of persuading him given that he and Moyes enjoyed success together both in the league and in European competition. In the unlikely event that we could land him, I would be keen to play him as a second striker to support our centre forward, in a similar role to that which he played alongside Michail Antonio during his earlier days at West Ham.

So move him out of the position he has been most prolific recently?

….back in the real world, Patterson might not want to be sold ‘for the good of his career’ because it’s almost certain that if any club wants him they will not be prepared to pay him anything like the contract he’ll have been on here for the last 4 years.

Indeed, I wouldn’t be surprised if he looks back on a 5 1/2year PL contract and think Everton was the best thing that ever happened to his career.

I can’t see him leaving for a fee with 18 months of his contract left and I couldn’t blame him, a loan maybe the best we can hope for.
Since when has Zat lived in the real world

Possibly, it may just be that TFG want too follow many of the bigger clubs and do the majority of their business in the summer windows. Id hope it means we really do have a proper plan at the end of the season regardless of the World Cup and we know the players we want and just go for them and none of the usual 'monitoring' or 'mulling' bs.
I’d consider City a bigger club and they are signing a winger and possibly a CB
