It's an interesting debate. Do we condemn people for previous sins or do we welcome them back into society if they've seen the errors of their ways? There's no right or wrong answer and it's the kind of topic you'll be firmly entrenched in one camp or the other. Your view is totally understandable. But it's still open for debate from a societal point of view which is why I'm making my point of view (and no this doesn't mean I condone what he did but whether he should be judged on past mistakes or now if he's a better man)

The thing about it is, I don't even like the guy myself. But there is also the broader issues and questions surrounding the whole thing. It's just not as simple as it is sometimes is presented. We simply don't have enough information about what went on to make a reasoned assessment about the whole case. The fact they both closed ranks and moved on makes it an even more confusing situation.

Unfortunately she has a family that would rather be connected to a pro footballer than protect their daughter. He dads comments when it first happened were abhorrent.

Wouldn’t have him near the club. He was never cleared of anything. Just another male who got away with violence against women, sadly.

To be clear, you think that a guy....

Oh forget it, some people will make any excuses for someone's behavior and are shocked when the bad person continues to do bad things.

The world is full of good players who also are good to be around and arent likely to be arrested in a year. Such as hopefully a RB and DM this window....and some attacker on loan.

I'm not excusing his behaviour, you obviously didn't read my posts thoroughly
 

Have a feeling we're not going to be much above the bottom 3 or too close for comfort come January thru not scoring goals. Panic Striker button may be pressed where we'll HAVE TO find money.
