January Transfer Window 2026

We need an ace in the hole forward who hits the ground running. Same for a right winger.
Left and right back starters also.
We’ll struggle in the new year without these additions.

Right wing = Ndiaye & Dibling.

In the summer if/when Grealish leaves then Ndiaye left & Dibling right. We'd need one or two wide players to develop behind them.

Monga from Leicester for me.

I mean I think its all about fullbacks. We still just have Myko, so I think priority #1 is a RB. After that, maybe a defensive mid. Striker is not up the list for me, outside of a loan, due to the high cost for someone who is currently unwanted by their club.

I still can't believe we didn't sign a RB.
I might get some flak for this but I don't think it's imperative for Moyes to bring in a RB if there's someone available like Tete on a free he'd be interested (obviously that didn't come together), but it doesn't seem like a priority position for him, as he feels Jake is serviceable

We need two full backs who are able to join the attack and go beyond Ndiaye & Grealish regularly.

Beto must be sold. We might get £15m in Spain or Italy ...

I'd be all over Mitrovic if there was a way to get him on a 2.5 year deal.

Mitrovic moved clubs in the summer, was strange he stayed over in Saudi.

No chance we get Monga, tbh I think his potential is higher than Diblings, I can see him getting lost in the vacuum at Chelsea sadly.

Genuinely think we're more likely to have Grealish next season than Ndiaye.

There will definitely be eyes on Ndiaye.

If we were to sell him, even for big money...we lose the only guy (aside from Alcaraz) who is direct and can cause mayhem to the opposition on transition.

He's the main guy for goals as well.

If he came out and Dibling came in then the money would need to be invested well - not another shambles like the summer.

Probably. Got to be in for these types though.

It's quite 'amusing' (in a depressing way) that looking at the 11, we essentially need 3/4 of a defence;

Branthwaite the starter & Obrien as 3rd choice ideally. Need Aznou to come through.

Then it looks like we need a CM with Armstrong and Rohl competing with Garner and them to start.

In the attacking areas potentially any of them could be moved on aside from probably Dibling.

Huge amount of work needed and a massive amount of money needs to be spent.

Monga, Rigg, King and the likes have to be looked at for a 'cheat code' while we need clear improvement with starters in certain areas as well.

Hopefully TFG have found a way to drop in another £150mil with all the investments theyve made.

As long as Moyes is not the one to spend the money.
