had someone at a party last night saying we should be looking at Mason Greenwood as a striking option in January

I said I wouldn’t want us to sign a person like that but he seemed to think things had moved on and he thought most fans wouldn’t care anymore.

I would be appalled if we signed him, I understand people can redeem themselves after committing heinous acts but he has been unrepentant about what transpired and has tried to make himself the victim which is unconscionable. One of the few things this club has going for it ,is that it seems to portray itself as principled which would be at odds with Greenwood's signing

I think that is a lot of the issue with the Greenwood thing. Despite the fact he is still with the same girl and they have 2 kids, he has never once appeared to show any sign of regret/remorse for what he did. It's not like it was some vicious rumour was it, most people saw the video that was going about. Like you said mate, he basically tried to make himself look like the person who had been wronged which is why everyone hates him so much.

Greenwood is a quality CF, scoring loads for Marseille.

Just wouldn't be worth all the hassle from press, fans, community though so think he'll just continue playing abroad and will likely declare for Jamaica if they make the World Cup.
