January Transfer Window 2026

Need to go back and see everyone pining for him when he scored 4 goals pre-season against an amateur team

From the snippets I’ve seen of him, he doesn’t look fit. Big red face and huffing and puffing.

Wherever he goes next, whether it’s back to Brighton or on loan somewhere else, looks like the clock has started ticking on his career in the top flight.

Turned 21 last week, has all the tools to be a top forward for the next 15 years, just needs his head wobbling it seems. Be a real shame if he can’t turn it around.

Say it all really

Scandalous.
Don't think it helps that in recent years (Yeah I get circumstances etc, etc) that we have had a tendency to go for managers that use the striker position as more of a focal point than a goal scoring position and have concentrated more on the players behind them. Look at the two we have now (Yes I know they are not world beaters) but neither has had that many touches in the box and we have only made something like 15 big chances (according to some Opta table that someone posted yesterday) We are not creating that much for a striker regardless of who is up there tbh, also most modern day strikers don't want the ball launched at chest/head height. The only striker I can see who possibly fits Moyes system and will put up playing like that is Toney

Rewatched some of Kinnear interview and he said we are only likely to spend in Jan due injury or under performance in a certain area. So we can relax as that means we are deffo getting another striker and hopefully a right back. If we don't sign a striker then that was a barefaced lie
That and would think some players out patterson and mcneil both you would think would be wanting to leave

There is a world of difference between a reformed thug (Duncan Ferguson) and a potentially reformed sexual offender (Mason Greenwood).

In a utopian world one could argue that both deserve forgiveness and a chance at a new life. In practice, sexual offences send out different messages, especially to female supporters - and wives of supporters!

Back on topic,we do need a striker.
*and children who idolise these players
